WantedDesign Manhattan 2017
Fabbian’s incredible pop-up installation mesmerized the visitors at WantedDesign Manhattan: over 400 pieces of handmade Murano glass were part of the design, that used Laminis System with LED strips running between the various panes.
The concept was inspired by the sparkling lights of a Broadway dressing room to pay homage to the city of New York and celebrate the new office opening in Manhattan.
The iconic I Love NY logo was reinterpreted by including the two dots, Fabbian’s signature logo.
The quintessential vanity makeup mirror coupled with the retro-pink Fujifilm Istax Mini 8 camera completed the space and set the ambiance to prepare our guests for “Their Big Show!”
Over 250 Polaroids generated a physical take-home souvenir for the multitude of designers throughout the event while many opted to create a digital souvenir by tagging @FabbianLighting on Social Media instead.
Even DesignMilk, with over 1.7 Million Instagram followers, featured Fabbian in its Instagram story!
4 PASTEL COLORS OF LENS ENRICHED THE RESTAURANT AREA WITH ANOTHER SURPRISE: LAGO DESIGN!
The installation of our Lens series fixtures above the Restaurant Area featured one of our most exciting recent product launches for 2017. Lens, a volumetric and stunning suspension fixture was installed at varying heights and sizes that openly recalled the Hanging Garden of Babylon.
The four pastel colors selected for this installation (Primrose Yellow, Pale Dogwood, Island Paradise and Greenery) were part of the PANTONE Fashion Color Report for Spring 2017 and represented a mixture of vitality, relaxation, and vivid earthiness to attract the attention of visitors. The contemporary touch of Lens perfectly matched the industrial red-bricks warehouse building and conveyed a playful note to the whole space.
Fabbian’s products were paired with the design pieces of LAGO, a company that has revolutionized the furniture scenario in the last fifteen years, The playful armchair Lastika, composed of bungee cords of fabric, and the Community table format not only conveyed the idea of Italian conviviality but also gave an energic and positive vibe to the entire area.
See you in 2018!
