At first glance, Light Glide appears to be a simple linear pendant. In reality, it is a highly adaptable luminaire designed to respond to changing spatial needs.
A sliding mechanism allows the fixture to expand and nearly double its length, enabling the light to adapt easily to different applications and room configurations. Integrated direct and indirect LED sources provide multiple control options, allowing Light Glide to shift effortlessly between focused task lighting and balanced ambient illumination.
This flexibility allows the fixture to transition from conference rooms to dining environments to flexible workspaces by adjusting both its physical length and lighting distribution. A low glare rating further supports its use in office environments and other spaces where visual comfort is essential.
Light Glide LED sources are available in 3000K and 4000K standard color temperatures, with 2400K, 2700K, and 3500K options available, allowing designers to tune the atmosphere to suit a wide range of interior environments.
Designer Cory Grosser combines the clarity of an architectural fixture with the expressive quality of a decorative object, achieving what he describes as “happy minimalism.” The result is a refined linear form with a subtle but surprising transformation.
