Elden Galleria
Located in Northwest Atlanta, The Galleria area is a sought-after destination for professionals looking for a stylish and sophisticated place to work and call home. With this in mind, the Elden Galleria residences were designed and built to offer professionals a luxury living space with top-of-the-line amenities.
The luxury experience begins in the two-story entranceway that greets residents and guests with plush seating areas and a custom-designed mail/package room. The designers needed lighting to help define the different spaces while creating focal points with functional illumination while paying subtle homage to the 1996 Olympic Games.
Suspended over the seating area, designers used five (5) Fabbian F45 Olympic Ring pendants to span the 10-foot wide space. The pendants, ranging in diameter from 31″ to 55″, were suspended at varying heights and angles to fill the space and provide ample ambient illumination. Olympic’s delicate rings provide performance-level illumination from 3/4″ diameter extrusions.
The mail and package room, a vital space in this day of online ordering, was given special care and consideration. Designers created a custom-built wooden trellis to frame the space and added a rainfall of pendants to accent and adorn it. Using the Fabbian F32 Multispot Tooby Pendants as their starting point, the designers customized the pendants to make the design their own. Four versions of the modified Tooby were created: Using our standard 18″ borosilicate glass diffuser, the upper metal shrouds were extended to 36″ and 48″ overall lengths. For other variations, the glass was cut to 8″. Custom black cords and canopies completed the pendants. The result is a package pick-up room residents can’t wait to visit.
The second floor of the entry includes amenities spaces that require functional illumination and a unique design touch. Using the Freeline F44 Linear bars, designers created three unique star-like structures that span areas of 48″, 78″, and a whopping 120″ while providing continuous diffused illumination throughout the space.
Fabbian supported the designers’ needs and wishes, without sacrificing time and budget, by relying on our vast range of configurable designs and our in-house ability to customize existing products without delay.
