Crio at Fedex Headquarters
“We are excited to bring everybody together under one roof in a world-class facility.”
FedEx Executive
FedEx provides a high-quality delivery service in more than 220 countries around the world and their reputation is well-known internationally.
This new headquarters consolidates more than 1,200 FedEx Office corporate and support services staff from multiple Dallas-area locations. The four-story, build-to-suit solution headquarters helped FedEx Office reduce its square footage in the area by 15 percent while providing work settings and amenities that foster employee engagement and productivity.
Open-plan offices, flexible conference rooms, and seamlessly integrated technology promote communication and collaboration throughout the headquarters. Huddle rooms and quiet rooms incorporated into the main floor plan form neighborhoods throughout the workplace.
The team applied color, graphics, and distinct finishes to establish clear zones and maintain department identities without introducing physical boundaries.
Employee amenities include a dining facility with a café and juice bar, a fitness center and basketball court, a mock FedEx Office store and a broadcast studio for developing internal and external communications.
The lounge area at the new HQ is illuminated by Crio, a hand-made white aluminum structure with an injection-molded acrylic diffuser and hidden light source.
Crio makes for the perfect solution for a contemporary work environment. Crio is available in both 2′, 4′ and 6′ diameter variations.
