Ming Exhibition
THE SECRETS OF THE FORBIDDEN CITY, MATTEO RICCI AT THE MING DYNASTY
This is the title of the exhibition that was set up in Ca dei Carraresi in Treviso (Italy), dedicated to the Chinese Ming dynasty in the golden years between 1368 and 1644. Over three hundred works were on display at this venue, including golden statues, rare fabrics, furniture, precious jade objects, silk garments, two unique imperial crowns, and many other valuable items.
